Our tumbling program at Icon Cheer Elite offers athletes of all ages and experience levels the opportunity to grow their skills step by step. From learning the basics to mastering advanced passes, each class is designed to build strength, coordination, and proper technique in a supportive environment. Athletes gain more than just new skills—they develop confidence, discipline, and a strong foundation.

Recreational Class Options

FOUNDATIONAL TUMBLING

Start here. Athletes learn the core fundamentals of tumbling, including forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and bridges. Coaches emphasize body awareness, coordination, and confidence while building the strength needed for skill progression.

BACKWALKOVERS

Once foundational skills are solid, athletes advance to mastering front and back walkovers, backbend kickovers, bridge recoveries, and handstand snap downs. This level bridges the gap between beginner tumbling and handspring readiness while refining control and strength.

BACK HANDSPRINGS

Athletes will work on standing and running back handsprings, front handsprings, and round-off back handspring connections. Training focuses on power, technique, and confidence while introducing the foundation for higher-level combinations.

TUCKS, LAYOUTS & TWISTING

For athletes ready to take flight. This advanced class focuses on tucks, layouts, full twists, and power tumbling combinations. Through drill-based instruction and individualized coaching, athletes improve air awareness, strength, and technical precision while mastering elite-level skills.
